  1. They are listed as 8'3" air draft on line, hiring Silent at the end of July, so will know first hand then.
  2. We took the rear cover completely off whilst waiting for the handover and stored it in the rear locker for the whole week. It's a shame they sealed the electric sunroof up and does it still have the sound system and Ipod docking station? can't really see from the pics.
  3. Green Book Information Facilities for Electric Charging, Refuelling & Toilet Disposal
  4. Back in the mid eighties, didn't they sell maggots there.
  5. Sounds like you had a lovely time, thanks for taking the time to post the pics and write up. The Broom Captains are nice boats, we had a week in 2014 and loved it, shame you can't use the sun roof any more.
  6. Thanks NonTecky sounds like a quality yard, that's reassuring. It's my 60th birthday and our 20th anniversary, so I hope it's as good as it sounds. Drinks up on the sundeck with guests in the evening, weather permitting.
  7. First time with Ferry Marina, first all electric and first grey tank, so it will be interesting to compare to the previous hires.
  8. I think it's called Tranquil Emblem and has two bedrooms Jean. I will look in the holiday tales forum, thanks for the tip.
  9. Thank you Helen, I believe it was launched last summer. The website still shows Zircon as the pics and layout. Ferry Marina have posted some pics on Facebook before booking, but I saw a different picture of the sundeck layout, not sure which is correct.
  10. Thank you Grace, I knew it was a long shot, fingers crossed
  11. Hi all, we have booked Silent Emblem from Horning Ferry Marina at the beginning of August. Has anyone previously hired this boat? We would be interested to hear any feedback and see any pictures please. Thanks in advance, Paul & Jenny
  12. Thank you for the update, what a shame.
  13. Back in 2014 we hired Captain Horatio for the first week in September and we definitely had an electric tilt slide sunroof (operated from the helm) in the saloon, have they taken this away? We had company stop over one night and found saloon bed rather overbearing, no mud weight winch and and only two hob rings made an English breakfast a challenge but not impossible. An absolutely wonderful boat for two in my opinion, but would be a shame if the sunroof has been removed.
