  2. Well its been a week since my op.Saw the nurse this afternoon to change the dressing. She said the wound is doing well.Today was also my birthday 21plus.The Easter bunny arrived early and the wine fairy to.Got some nice presents.Bluewater tokens from Marina and Alan.Smellys polo shirts England rugby shirt.Tour of Wimbledon chocs Easter eggs.

One thing for sure I would like to know exactly what's happening.Very much doubt I will buy a brooms or for that matter a Haines.what is certain is during the season I use brooms often and hope to continue to.For them as a company I would suggest they lay out the future sooner rather then later.
  4. Just watched the first episode, and as U guessed Maya was the star of the show.She has a problem with her eyes and walking.Next on next Thursday.Wull try to go to there open day in July.
  5. I think there hire fleet is closer to 12 or 13.During the season we top up with fuel and water.For sure where there hire fleet are based you could not moor 20 plus boats.
  6. Tonight the first of three parts on BBC2.A documentary on Big Cat sanctuary in Kent.One of the stars could be Maya Black Jaguar abandoned by her mum.Giles Clark has been on before hand rearing Tigers.If like me you like cats of all sizes it's a must watch .
  7. What is certain is the uncertainty,I may be wrong but have not heard a statement from Brooms.I think they should make a statement to perhaps lay down what's happening and there plans for the future.
  8. I must admit I prefer the way Haines fit out there boats, We looked at Brooms and Haines at the boat show.If I was to buy it would be Haines.However being based at Brundall I hope the outcome for the staff is good.
  9. My guess is they already have about 13 boats in there hire fleet,They may well build a few more to add to there hire fleet.No doubt they have some orders which will need to be Finnished also.
  10. Will be interesting,They don't have that many hire boats 13, I think.On a selfish note I hope they keep there fuel,water station.

  13. According to weather on my phone,in the main weather for Easter temps are in double numbers daytime.I hope so because we are due to be on the boat over Easter.
  14. As many of you have seen some houses are at risk of falling into the sea.To loose your house in such a way can be very distressing for those concerned.My thoughts go to them
  15. Indeed I am a chef,I to use wine sometimes I have to check to see if the wine is okay to go into the food.Its a hard job but someone has to do it!
  16. The smell of pine needles.In the early 80s we had two camping holidays in the South of France. One of which had a number of pine trees and the smell to this day reminds me of that holiday,warm days the beach and great times.
  17. The smell of coal firing up a steam train or steam engined boat.
  18. When I did event catering We used to offer hand made chocolates.This chap made chocolates not only for us but many top restaurants and hotel.We would buy lots from him.One day he invited Marina and I to a tasting.Although we only had small pieces doing so for a good part of the afternoon,I had a headache from hell. It still did not put me off thank goodness.
