I saw another yacht arrive back at Horning earlier, and two of the small dinghys arrived back under tow from the rangers before that

the straight parts of the roof supports have been cut from teak to 10mm x 5mm, 2 more supports to steam and I will be ready to start constructing roof sections.

ouch, I just managed to steam my thumb - not once but twice trying to rush getting the wood out of the steaming tube, painfull - even though its been under a cold tap a while.

they are so relaxed and helpful, even down to getting me on my boat I had hired when I arrived at 10AM, despite still taking boats in that had been out on hire and cleaning / checking them.

what confusion, ^^^^^^^^ up there is comparatively normal for some here.

many many years ago (in my youth) there was a product called dab it off, used to clean sticky residue off of clothing etc, a while back (10 years or more) I found that a dry cleaning solution was sold that worked and smelt the same.

I would say one of the cleaners used to clean computer chips from the heat transfer paste, a orange oil based cleaner but do test on an inconspicuous area first.
