I know we saw a photo but did the dog and puppies actually ever exist or was it one huge con?

Is the mooring where a ferry went across to the marshes from the Waveney River Centre? Or somewhere else? Sent from the Norfolk Broads Network mobile app -
We were booked to go to Greece and islands in four weeks time. Still on the okay list but because of our daughter's health problem we don't feel happy going away for any length of time. Thankfully our holiday insurance will cover the non refundable areas due to family health issues. Sent from the Norfolk Broads Network mobile app

I'll let you find them!!!! Its been so dry she will definitely leak! If it chucks it down, watch the front top windows! It can well up in the runners! Guaranteed to pour down just as you want to go under Beccles but as you said yesterday it would have been possible with the canopy up! We never took her under the old railway bridge at Geldeston - the cut needless to say wasn't there. All sounds idyllic - the Broads at their best! -

Did she have one of her special 'behaving bad moments'? Decides to do the complete opposite to what you want to do, normally in front of a whole load of people and usually at a critical moment! -

WR has three domestic and one to start. Didn't realise there was a leak from the starboard water tank, that would explain a constant supply of water in the bilge!!! -

She does need a bit of a run and high rev count to keep those batteries topped up especially in this hot weather. Hope you left the batteries set to 2 not 1 or both otherwise you might have struggle starting her? I am afraid at Barton Regatta I have to run the engine during the day, to keep the fridge working. When filling up the water do it slowly, it if appears to be very full very quickly, the air lock between the two tanks will have kicked in. Clue to completely full tanks is water flowing freely from the front washbasin without the pump on! Also don't let the tank overflow too much otherwise you might have a wet bunk especially on the port side!!!! -

I was wondering that! There is a pull out switch there (like the fridge switch) which turns on the plug/inverter there. Also two points one in the front cabin and the back for one of those USB stick things. Whatever they are called -
I suspect until the level of severity is known, it wasn't quite appropriate? Sent from the Norfolk Broads Network mobile app

I didn't know that! There is nothing more 'fun' than someone standing on the steering cables as you are trying to do a difficult mooring manoeuvre! Hope you enjoy your trip up into Norwich and make it to New Mills? -

Yes it is the Wensum head of navigation for private boats - it is one of the most delightful & fascinating journeys that can be made IMHO. Just have to avoid low water but sufficiently low to get under Bishop's Bridge (and avoid shopping trolleys) -

Over the years of communicating with Norfolk, I have found email probably the worst method. I use email a lot, my way of communication but this isn't always reciprocated and to be honest the phone works best but then there isn't a paper trail which sometimes you want! Having sent an email, with no response, I will ring and the answer is 'oh yes we got that' but needless to say they didn't respond to say 'thank you for your email etc. etc. '

Which bunk did you take. Both were MINE but the port once was where the sink and two burner hob and grill were in her hire boat days. No oven and tap on the water tank ahead of you Sent from the Norfolk Broads Network mobile app

Thank you for sharing. WR still means an awful lot to me and I have many memories. Once a year we always came south and would moor in Hardley Dyke (when you could - it was a hidden gem) In pre WR holidays, parents would always moor in Langley Dyke!! So pleased she is being used and enjoyed by others. Look forward to Grendel's future tales, but he will have watch he doesn't hit his head when cooking his tomatoes!
