  1. Typical Daily Fail artical from a month ago in a week where there is talk of him receiving a gong.

Whilst his lawyers should of not started the court action I believe it was started when the watchmaker started using the chequered flag in advertising, however this is something that they are entitled to do as the offical timer for the F1 Red Bull racing team but haven`t done before.

Bad advice given by the lawyers who get paid whatever the result.

That must be a very popular tune; everyone asks me to play that just as I start to practise. They must think I'm good!:default_unsure:

The accordions better anyway as it sounds like several trumpets. You'll soon find out when I play it in Brundall. :default_hiding:

Thought I heard thay you were planning on moving the owl elsewhere, anything to get out of buying me that pint eh!

Agreed but I think we should also tip our hats in the direction of the excellent engineering which provides the design and reliability of modern cars.

This is what F1 excells at and so many ideas trickle down to the cars we drive today. Thankfully the Brabham Fan car as it was known nor the Tyrrell 6 wheeler were allowed to race.

To be fair to Hylander, she did start her post with "I have copied and pasted this because I think the last paragraph is very poignant at this time."

I'm fairly certain that came from Facebook which many here do not do, so posting a link rather than copying and pasting wouldn't work for many.

In no way, shape or form was I having a pop at Hylander and I wan`t the only one to miss the connection.

Did nobody watch the real  motor racing yesterday ?  Finalround of the BTCC from Brands Hatch. Far from processional and truly entertaining.

Used to follow BTCC & DTM when "bumper taps" and the such were allowed in the 80`s, never missed a race at Thruxton or Donnington, good ol days.

  6. I know that they cost more but the lever valves are the best and quicker to isolate in an emergency. Metal iso valves now have a PTFE seal rather than rubber and I`m not sure what type is in a plastic iso valve so might cut one open next time I replace one.

  7. When my sister had one of hers put to sleep after 13yrs the vet said to bring the other dog in as well, once the deed was done the second dog took one sniff of his mate and seemed to realise and understand straight away. No wandering around the house looking for his mate or anything. Bit late now of course but may help others in the future.
