The combined width is 20', without measuring the width of the river I would guestimate we are no more than 15% Never had anything approaching a near miss even by a stag boat .

Strange that they allow double mooring on their sites but after 6 years of occasionally double mooring my small boat next to Whitey on a very wide section of the Yare a ranger recently asked if I was leaving it there as it might be a hazard. The section of river is over 60' wide. 😎 Must be a new recruit as the rangers usually refer to it as my extension and have never had a problem.

Good afternoon all, Please be aware that the Brave Futures Dragon Boat Challenge will be taking place on the River Wensum between Lady Julian bridge and Foundry bridge on Saturday 27 April 2024 between 10:00hrs and 14:00hrs. The river remains open to navigation however boaters should expect delays while the races take place. Please follow instructions given by the safety vessels and Ranger patrols. Is there an easy way to see if a YouTube thing is monetised. It seems to me, and I am no expert, that those who aim to make money out of a video approach it differently than say SwanR (Jean). I enjoy the gentle nature of Jean's and others output where as I hate hearing the biased spouting of some egotistical snot who thinks I value his opinion and usually has an axe to grind. What I do enjoy, and always read, are our own members holiday write and memories.
