  5. Ha,Ha,very good Bruce,as you say only good for rolling back from the pub in your dinghy, Will see you on the sunday on the photo shoot as i am only an amatuer as are most people should be good to see how the pro's do it instead of like me willy nilly.

Thanks,Frank,Yes it will be a new fitting just bought the set as you say the difficult bit will be hiding the cable runs,yes i have a spare switch on the dash i could connect to,also it could be easier to fit the stern light seperately so as to use less cable around the boat with a seperate switch.would not use the lights very often but it gives you an option if its getting dark and you over run on time.I will also need a searchlight type of lamp to see where i am going.

  9. Hi,Bruce,Is it possible for me to come to the shoot on the 21st? I'm not an early riser so would be up for breakfast in Potter,and then onto the other places later,what time do you expect to arrive in Potter? and where do we meet for breakfast? lol

What a brilliant story Shaune and Jill glad you like the Broads you WILL come back i am sure, and you will probably get married and have another holiday here on a boat and you will bring your children and they will love it as well. I first came in 1958 amd now i live here with my wife Olive. :-D

Just heard on the news that Connisseur cruisers of Wroxham are transfering there boatbuilding abroad with the loss of 40 jobs. don't know at the moment if that means the boat hirings part being sold also the moorings there being sold.Will try to find out some more. I heard this rumour some few months ago and now its come true.

  13. £30 a week thats disgustingly high,even the boatyards only charge £10 a week personally i would not pay it,its probably cheaper in the carpark next to the fish n chip shop by the bridge or park in the village after dropping off your things i know its a little walk.

I saw it on the NBF today that some chap was talking to an ex engineer at Acle and he said Connoiseur cruisers are looking for another place to moor there boats as Wroxham bridge is getting difficult to go thro due to flooding and constant high waters i have just moved to there yard this year.doh. also Potter Heigham bridge is sinking on one side.

  17. Hi,I wonder if anyone knows why i have constant 12 volts live switches even when battery isolator is switched off,i have an ex hire boat maybe it was there process.And could it be dangerous.?

  19. Yes,Paul, bit worried that when i unscrew said nuts something will fall in pan and i have to put my hands in to retrieve it, UGH Pooo,sorry for the pun. Name 0f toilets are Traveler..

  21. Does anyone know where i can get older toilet seal spares from, mine are the foot lever type and the leak is coming between the bottom of toilet to holding tank.Ta?
  22. Thanks ian, prior to the service the engine was running smoothly and started most times at first turn of key. i phoned the service man and he is looking at it tommorow he seems to think it could be a faulty plug.hope so as wanted to cruise around today it being nice and sunny.
