I got it! -I thought it was very funny!

You need a Cobb!!
I know the ranger a Reedham can be enthusiastic but it is a tough gig.
-
Also seen a few caught up on the wall at Oulton Broad yacht Station.

That can be a problem at the WRC-the stern fenders slip into the indents on the moorings. We normally stick a couple of extra ones on the back to be sure.
Great tale .

It would be wrong of me not to take the opportunity to plug a syndicate AF38!

I totally agree a lovely style of boat and by the sounds of it you got full use of the canopy!
Keep it coming....

Any room for syndicate boats.........?

Thanks Alan. Glad my car does not cost 15% of its new purchase price to service!
I will give it a go myself but consider a service should it ever start playing up!

Out of interest What does it cost to get an outboard serviced?
I have 2.5 hp four stroke but am going to service it myself (nearly finished building a stand!). The basic service seems straight forward enough-he says confidently.......

Glad it worked out in the end. If you do come again pop back on the forum to discuss the boats you are thinking of hiring-trust me someone will know about them!
We are also stuck with school holidays but worth pointing out this Easter it snowed on the broads, this May half term was lovely but last May half term (Diamond Jubillee) week it was very wet! So it's a bit of pot luck. I have never been at October half term but worth remembering it will be getting dark early so it may make it a little more difficult with the children!

No sign of SOB?
As sad as it sounds my camera is always close at hand for such encounters.

I am always amazed how good she looks but what is the yellow thing hanging on the fender?!
-
Can't believe my scam was uncovered. I had tripped them in July hoping the credit would still be there next Easter!!
In all seriousness I can't believe how protective people are (and I include myself!) over a couple of quid on an Electric post once you consider the total cost of boating!

Is mooring limited to 24hrs at Womack? I confess to staying two nights once but I did pay for both nights.....
-
Keith-I hope this is the start of another good week onboard because I still feel guilty for putting the syndicate idea in yours and Lisa's head!
Every time I reverse past MS I always mutter to myself how much better your mooring spot is!

There is now a "garden" for the tea room-behind the shop across the road next to the car park!

She will fit through at low water no problem

I travel from the Dartford River crossing and choose the A12 everytime. I used to find the Elvedon area could easily add 30 mins to the journey.

Day three
Feedback from the pool was that it was dirty and very expensive and the changing room showers weren't very nice]
We use the pool a fair bit. I don't find it expensive as our children are not old enough to coat anything yet though! I do agree about the cleanliness and not much thought appeared to go in the design of the changing rooms. We now prefer to go back and shower on the boat. The toilet and shower block however are probably the best on the broads.

Saw lots of these moulds on the A14 fairly close to Kettering.
Which would be on the route from "Birmingham way" to Norfolk would it not?........
-
Au contraire. Belaugh but it is on the river to Wroxham!
Ahhh. I thought it was Beccles. Must get under the bridge more often!

But a lovely story none the less!

Now look I know we have been doing a lot if where was this photo taken etc but the photo above under "the river to Wroxham is lovely" is a long way from Wroxham unless I am mistaken!
