Probably last to know but just seen this on Groupon - £25 for 2 steak meals and bottle of Pino... If I wasn't about to jet off to Spain I'd probably be buying one instead of writing this...

To be honest £25 for two small rump steaks and cheap bottle of plonk is hardly a bargain.

Even a cheap Merlot can be passable, just, but seriously would anyone actually pay £46.40 for such a pub style meal? At £25.00 it's probably about right, especially when you consider that fish & chips at most pubs is a tenner and that's without wine. Looks nice!

Steak in a normal pub is £10-£15 and bottle of house is usually a tenner minimum so fail to see how it isn't good value...

I have a freezer which tells me when it needs defrosting, a flat iron which tells me it needs de-ionised water. and a bedside table that told me about the wine

3 GALLONS!!! Anyone going to Horning wouldn't mind swinging round and picking me up?  That much to drink and you won't care how cheap the steak  is or what it tastes like for that matter

Bet the meal doesnt look anything like the one in the picture!!!

Our local social club does 2 rump steak meals and a bottle of your choice of wine for £27 at normal prices. And it looks better than the meal in the photo!!!!

Might be a bit biased though.
