Hylander Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Is it only me (probably is) but when I log in and look at posts on the forum and go into the post , it never takes me to the latest post but always starts at the very beginning. Some of the posts are pages and pages long. Not so bad on the laptop but when I am looking through my phone at the posts it takes me ages to get to the last post made. Does that make sense? Quote
MauriceMynah Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Yes, that makes sense, but when you look at the list of posts, on the right you will see the number of posts and a little speech bubble. to the left of that, a picture of a clock and the time the last post was posted. Click in that clock and it will go to the latest post. Well, it does for me 1 Quote
grendel Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 me too - in fact it goes to the first unread post. Quote
grendel Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 if you go to posts from the condensed view, just click the blue dot at the start of the thread title. 1 Quote
Maxwellian Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 I do it that way Grendel. I use my iPad most of the time and having fat fingers I find I go to the last posters info page by mistake quiet often. Not being nosey just can't press the little blue dot first time. 1 Quote
BroadScot Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 If you click the little star or dot at the start of a thread I think you will find it takes you to the latest reply on that thread. Hope that helps. Iain Quote
Hylander Posted July 9, 2016 Author Posted July 9, 2016 Thank you MM I have been doing it all wrong. Now that has save me a lot of fannying around going through pages and pages. Your help is appreciated. Quote
MauriceMynah Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Grendel's answer was better, I didn't know that one, very usefull 1 Quote

Hope that helps. Iain takes you to the latest post you have not read, example, if you have read 10 posts on a thread it will take you to number 11 thats what i use all the time Quote
BroadScot Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 True Mike, But as I try to read every post I discovered the star or dot handy for me. Quote
