MauriceMynah
Since my "change of circumstances", I have been staying with a friend of mine. Some of you may have met him, his name is Rufus, and he lives with his 90 year old mother. Well now, Timothie (yes, Rufuses mother is called "Timothie") has just shown me a photograph that she obtained from the BBC or ITV, she cannot remember which. It is of Rufus on his narrow boat "Port Felix" emerging from one of the canal tunnels. She doesn't remember if it was the BBC or ITV. She doesn't recall how long ago it was (though it will have been some years ago) and she has no idea what the program was called. I want to get a DVD of that program ..... Where the hell do I start, Oh and just to make things tricky I don't want either Rufus or Timothie to know I'm trying to do this. Suggestions on a postcard to... vanessan
Have you any idea how old Rufus might have been when the picture was taken? There was a tv series back in 2005 called Narrowboat Afloat and a follow-up series in 2006. Pinpointing Rufus’s age might help identify the time period.
