Meantime Posted January 24, 2018 Share Posted January 24, 2018 That map also appears to show the second windmill referred to here, https://www.horseyvillage.com/1816-Award-Map.html I'm guessing that due to lack of dredging by Ye Olde Broade Authoritye back in the 1800s that corner of the Mere has silted up and the old staithe become disused.
