Right, back on track. The latest pub is another toughie but me and Mrs N are on the case. Must have been good though to have stopped for 2 pints!

Sunday 28th October

A complete and utter lazy day today.

I got up at 0730 to a sunny cool morning, and took the dog out for her morning duties. I sat talking to the kids about nonsense for most of the morning afterwards and just enjoying relaxing on the broads with no work to have to worry about whilst sinking numerous cups of coffee.

The rain kept coming and going through the morning and eventually I knew I really should head off somewhere else. The heater on the boat has decided to stop playing ball recently and so as the kids had started moaning about the temperature I needed to go and get an alternative heating source.

It was around 1115 when I eventually set off once more, unheard of setting off so late usually for me, but I know I'll make up for it later in the week, I knew we was going to take it easy whilst the kids are with me, when I am alone later In the holiday I know I'll be travelling much more.

Heading down the River Waveney Somerleyton bridge was held open, which was fortunate as there was only around 8 foot showing, which is exactly what we would need if it was closed, saving me wondering if we would definitely pass through or not.

I took my time along the river with no rush to do anything today, maybe a delayed response to finishing nights yesterday morning. There was yet another downpour or two including another bout of hail after I passed the Waveney centre.

Eventually I reached Beccles Yacht Station which was almost empty making mooring up even easier.

Paying my fee we then headed up into town,  and whilst everyone else went shopping for heaters and the usual unnecessary rubbish (including a marshmallow firing gun ) I took the dog and sat in the pub for a pint. Or two. Well actually...

Once everyone was finished it was time to head back to the boat where we put a few Halloween decorations up inside and out, (if you after on the water this week and see a bunting covered boat, yep thats probably us) which was fun, before settling down for another evening playing games with the kids.

Apparently I should let them win at least one game, I was urged to do it, just one game she said.

I didn't 

Like I said, a very lazy Sunday, but back to normal tomorrow I would think.
