ranworthbreeze
Our first File Server in the early 80's only had 1GB of Ram all of it was plug in chips, we increased to 2GB by adding a expansion card for the pricey sum of over £1600.00 and of course the workstations booted from floppy disks. grendel
the first computer i had at home was a dragon 32 32k of processor, then at work we had unix cad workstations, these were far better than the windows machines, but our file server was at head office at the other end of a 52k data line.
