Victoryv
Hello We keep our boat at Martham, I have looked at Tumblehome and it is a really nice boat for 2, I believe it is their most sought after cruiser, also very nice people to deal with. Matthew12
Ok thank you we were just looking for a nice smaller cruiser
JanetAnne
Cracking boat originally built by Royal'ls as Royal Tiara. We have one of her her sister ships, Royal Tartan and then, of course, Timbo, the forum chairman has Royal Tudor. You won't be disappointed
VetChugger
You will enjoy "Tumblehome", you would enjoy any boat from Martham. Also a good area for first time boaters as not so much traffic that side of the bridge. For a break the length you are talking about I can easily see you spending all the time topside! Matthew12
Ye tumblehome is right at the top of the budget so we will see I've picked out maycraft and Martham I was looking at freedom but there about to go so we will see
charlesa
Fantastic boat Matthew, really easy to handle and with the seating position you will be able to see over the reeds at the glorious Broads scenary.. As VetChugger has said the Martham side of Potter Heigham bridge is an ideal place to start boating. Easy walking reach of the sea at Horsey, plenty of mooring and 3 pubs at Horsey itself, Hickling and West Somerton. Go for it. Give Helen or Diane a call on 01493 740249, very nice and helpful ladies.

Or is that a deposit with refund for unused litres? Just thinking I use about £50 worth a year!
Matthew12
No they just want you to bring but that's without the refund
Bluebell
Just now, Matthew12 said: No they just want you to bring but that's excluding unes litres so it will be like £30 for us Okay, understand now, makes sense!

charlesa
I think you'll find that Martham includes fuel in the price although you'll need to check as I may be out of date.

grendel
charles they used to, but i did spot they had added a line about fuel to the hire details Quote The prices shown are for the boat hire only, and do not include all optional and mandatory charges, which may be added through the booking process e.g. fuel deposit, non-refundable damage waiver, pet charges, car parking. though of course when i booked last october i got the old last year price without fuel deposit the boat description now says Quote A fuel deposit is charged in advance prior to your holiday. On return the tank will be replenished at the pump, if below the deposit value the difference will be refunded. If more fuel is used you will be liable for the difference.
