Ok one week to go. Who is going?

We are still going, weather permitting. Is any one else joining in for all or some of the trip?

Looking to leave Reedham Saturday to run to Lowestoft, Hamilton Dock

First leg Sunday is planned as Hamilton Dock to Titchmarsh anyone doing it?

We are thinking economy at the moment and have a loose plan to do a fair bit of displacement cruising along the way as long as the seas allow this with a degree of comfort.

How are the passage plans going for the SD boats, any thoughts yet?

Not done any passage planning yet as all charts are on the boat but will be bringing them back to put it together through the week.

Happy Jax 3 and us are hoping to exit via Yarmouth to Lowestoft next saturday Ian to join you all in Hamilton. From then on we have no plans!! We are just going to play it by ear, possibly catching up with you all in Titchmarsh before you depart to London.

We will probably be in saturday evening - if not it will be an early 'escape' for us on Sunday!

we will see how bug the cash mound sits atg the end of the week - currently not very high although I do have enough fuel on board for about 280 miles plus reserve!

We will be eeking out a few more miles by doing fair bit of displacement stuff so with that you could be there.

Should speed up the journey to Titchmarsh, be much better on fuel too, 5 gallons should get us most of the way there then the RNLI can recover us the rest of the way.

Dont worry we have a gas one and so does Barry. Save the disposable ones for later in the week

When are you getting down to Hamilton? We are supposed to be out on the 4pm lift at Yarmouth Saturday, do want to do it by sea just to make sure all is well with the boat after the legs have been off but following on from Jonathan's entrance at Lowestoft, don't really want to frighten Heather and the kids before we properly get going. Would be good if we can get a sea state check from a live view point.

Had a quick look at the sea an hour ago and despite northerly winds and wind against tide, there seemed to be little swell but a bit of chop.

Chop should be gone tomorrow as long as the wind stays as forecast.

Just had a taxi ride back to st Kats from a show and the cabbie told us he is coming down to the broads in a couple of weeks for a hire - you can't go anywhere ! Lol
