fishfoxey
Hi wonder if someone could point me in the direction of a 3 person tender that is good value for money and also an online retailer that they trust as have seen some dodgy reviews of some when trawling the net. Also an outboard that again doesn't break the bank (quite fancy electric if that would move it) . ChrisB
Rigid or inflatable? If rigid, are you able to store it on deck? Because most marinas are not keen on tenders floating about if they do not have separate tender storeage. Personally I have always prefered an inflateable that you can pack away. You get what you pay for with inflatables. If you are only going to row ashore once in a while at Salhouse or Malthouse then one of the cheap brands like Waveline is fine. If however you are going to use it alot go for a quality make. I have always bought Avon or Zodiac.
RealWindmill
I've always liked my WalkerBay rigid inflatable since i bought it. 2.75metres long and untippable as it has an inflatable skirt fender fitted around. Use mine with a home made detachable electric prop and battery pack as used to power kayaks and boards out through the surf in places like Australia ( UK distributors though). Not cheapest option - but you get what you pays for. Hope this of some help.
CambridgeCabby
We have recently purchased a Seago 230 with Suzuki 2.5hp outboard, and find them excellent. The seago is at the lower price range but still a quality product and will take three adults but will be snug , outboard lightweight for a petrol powered one and very economical . We were fortunate to find ours in excellent condition from another NBN member . If I were purchasing new I would have gone for one with an air floor as opposed to slide in floor slats ( we have a solid floor also supplied with the dingy to counter not having airdeck) . Guest
We bought the Intex Seahawk III, surprisingly sturdy and deflates and easily stores, also takes an outboard.

marshman
Never not give Andy Seedhouse a ring at Woodbridge. He nearly always has secondhand ones - but they don't hang around! https://www.andyseedhouseboats.co.uk/
Smoggy
I have a wave line 2.7metre airdeck jobbie and very happy with it, got a good price from Norfolk marine a couple of years ago and they delivered it for free as their van goes to a marina local to me. Injection moulded, So very strong, and light if you need to lift it. There have been some good priced 2nd hand ones on the “bay” recently.
