LondonGuy
What are the oldest boat/s on the broads, available for hire? Are they the equivalent of vintage cars or are they 'old tubs'?

There are still some Ocean 30s about which would be from the sixties and a couple of Dawncraft DC30s which must be about the same vintage.

I would say vintage cars with character and all are perfectly safe and dry.
NeilB
This is probably the oldest Broads boat available for hire without a crew or skipper - https://www.marthamboats.com/hire/yachts/35-zoe Not sure if any of the wherries are older?
grendel
hunters sailing fleet would also rate as quite old. the Marthams boats are old, but have quite a modern standard of fitout in lovely golden mahogany, but dont expect a mains socket, they do have usb sockets to charge phones etc. and 12v car sockets. fridges, decent cookers, and are a great nostalgia trip.
Broads01
The DC30s and the Ocean 30s at Richardsons have a certain presence about them. Whilst they're not woodies both are very much a classic design in my view. Not quite as old but also classics are the Hampton Safaris still around, being Mermaid and Capri at Richardsons, Mayfair at Maycraft and Sand Lark at Sandersons.
