Hello again.

Just to say we had an absolutely fantastic time last week on our holiday. The weather for the first four days was beautiful. Friday, however was somewhat biblical😄😄.

I came across this site whilst looking for places to fish. I needn't have worried as everywhere I dangled a few maggots I caught plenty of fish. Wonderful to just watch a float bob up and down not knowing if it was going to be a tiny gudgeon or a decent sized bream. Stacks of lovely roach and perch and lost a few fish to pike as I was bringing them in.

Completely different to the contrived commercial fisheries that are now everywhere.

Already booked again for next year from Stalham next time. 

What really stood out for us was how helpful and friendly everyone was. 

Some wonderful memories and can't wait to go back next year again.

How lovely to hear a happy story.      Glad the fishing was good while you were there.     We had the first Monday afternoon till Thursday which was reasonable but Friday Saturday and Sunday were wash outs.   Never seen trees bend quite like it and so many branches down.    The River Waveney where were were , right at the top end was in full flood on the Friday and the owner of Mendham Mill expected it to overtop at any time.    Not been like that for years.   As you say biblical.

Glad to hear that your holiday worked out well and you will be back. We like varying which yard we hire from as that makes our route different if we’re starting and finishing  in a different place.

Great to hear what a positive experience you had and that you’ll be back.  The Broads had me hooked over fifty years ago and I still look forward to returning, despite now having our own boat and so long after my first Broads holiday.
