Happy to report that I should be free to run the quiz on Friday night due to a change in my plans for the weekend, as long as we have enough quizzers in the house.

Rounds are currently expected to be as below with a little break in the middle.

5. Norfolk Trivia
6. Connections - shamelessly copying Tigerhawk with the idea for this round! :)

Great fun hosting the quiz tonight.

The scores were very close with Nik in 3rd, Bern was 2nd while Steve and Tigerhawk tied for 1st place. 

Tigerhawk won the tie break so will host the next quiz.

Just to add a huge apology to Steve. I didn't have a tiebreak question to hand so looked something up on the inventor's theme from the first round. However ... as happens with the internet, I think the answer I had was incorrect. 

George and Robert Stephenson were father and son, and both are credited with the Rocket depending which site you read.

So ... really it's still a tie ... awkward ... but it was a lovely evening and hopefully you'll get that win that you deserve next time round Steve. :)

Friday again already!

I’ll be in the chat room around 8.35 to 8.40 to see whether there are enough takers to run the quiz tonight. I know that Grendel will be otherwise occupied with the Lads Dinner. So we will see how many turn up.

Still not enough people for a quiz this evening. Think we have a few away. So the questions roll over again .... same time same place next Friday ... I think I'll give up after that!!
