Card Machine Woodfordes Down.

We've  just called into the shop.There card machine  went down last night.May not be up and running till Monday.Also no card machine  working in the pub.Cash only.

One day a satellite or some electronic gizmo will fiz and all the money will disappear with it. If you have cash at least you could eat it to sustain or burn it to keep warm

I doubt that today’s money would keep you warm. Isn’t it plastic nowadays? It would probably just shrink into a little plastic ball.

Money shrinks all the time in my house  Seriously though, I'm lucky in that we can eat and heat unlike some people I saw on the news the other day. Some pretty heart wrenching stories where folk have to choose whether to eat or heat and the sacrifices they have to make for the sake of their families. 

I don't mean to get political but our 'leaders' who earn thousands of pounds a month have no clue about the real  world. Cash is not King to most of us anymore because we don't have any
