MauriceMynah
A bottle and 8 refills.... hmmm that's about a months worth. I don't think 2 bottles a week is too excessive.
MauriceMynah
Somebody here in the pub has suggested that 9 bottles of gin might be based on government recommendations for a year's consumption by units. Bloody nanny state!

MauriceMynah
15 metres by 4 is pretty thick rope. How long are they?
marshman
15 m length or have I missed something? Clearly I have because 4mm rope is string and 4 m is nonsensical. Could it be 4 strand but don't you need to know the diameter? Or am I just showing that I am suffering from having too much drink?
WherryNice
I think 4 is the quantity and the diameter is unknown..
floydraser
Forgot to add: although I saw no bargains I did see an advert for the Norfolk Boat Jumble on 2nd April - https://www.norfolkshowground.co.uk/events/norfolk-boat-jumble/ I can't see how much it will be to get in though, or how much to park, I'll leave that to you locals to sort that out. The last and only time I went to a boat jumble was Newarke in 2015 just after I bought my first boat. I hope things have changed, or should I stop washing and shaving now so that I don't stand out as being posh?

Can't remember how much they were but weren't expensive. IIRC it was £5 entry and parking was free.
OldBerkshireBoy
I went a couple of years ago, parking was free and I think it was £5 per person to enter. There was less stalls than expected and if I hadnt found a discontinued part I would be thinking £2.50 to enter would be a fairer price.
