FairTmiddlin Posted September 24, 2014 Share Posted September 24, 2014 Not quite so new I'm Afraid was the flag of the First Earl of Norfolk, Ralph (Ranulph) de Gael (de Guader), from 1071 to 1075. And has been used as the flag of Norfolk County Council, since the reign of EdwardVII, albeit with a lion across the top, All this is ,is a tidied up version of the old council flag, hardly new.
