Bridge Pilots

Just been perusing the Barnes Brinkcraft webcam, a few boats going under the bridge. We are hoping to go under at low tide in a few weeks which is 08.30ish. Do the pilots work this early?

Went through and back (or I'd still be there) on a Richo's boat last month. The cost was 12 quid in total for both ways and you pay at the boatyard when you give the boat back. Have a good one.

Here is some information taken from a site.

The service is available from Phoenix Fleet boatyard between 8.30am and 6.00pm every day from 1st April (or one week before Easter whichever is earlier) to 31st October, and between 10.00am and 4.00pm weekdays only for the rest of the year. (subject to tide and weather) Tel: 01692 670460.

This for Potter Heigham Bridge.

When you ring Phoenix Fleet you get a variety of options, you then need to have your pen and pencil ready as it gives a mobile number for the pilot.
