Respect! Not sure I'd want to wear it after knowing where it has been. Steve

Polly
Oh I do believe the hat in question is now in the company museum, hopefully in a sealed case!
JennyMorgan
The elephant saga really puts an alternative meaning to 'pass the hat'. I hope that the elephant survived the ordeal without to much discomfort. http://packpaddle.com/2014/tilley-hat-eaten-elephant-3-times/
Wussername
The Tilley hat, de rigueur for the Southern waters, Beccles the Holt of Suffolk, Geldeston Lock Suffolk’s answer to Burnham Overy Staithe. Oulton Broad, well perhaps the Breton cap, giving it’s close association with the sea. As for the Rumsey Well’s cap….must be Norwich. The baseball cap, the pirates hat, the kiss me quick, and the plastic Captains Hat. Well make your choice. The bobble hat is universal but hijacked by the young and trendy.(without the bobble) Mrs Wussername and her old man on their way to Beccles.
