  9. Hi Geoff, Many boats will get through that arch, but these days there just aint the available space there once was (water levels higher). You may be lucky. I too would like a trip tother side not been through since late 1990's Iain.

  13. Hi Geoff, If you cannot get through THAT bridge you can always hire a day boat at Potter H to go through and investigate what pleasures there are at Hickling etc. Iain.
  14. Hi Alan, I think you will find its the Waveney River to blame, I could be wrong though. I remember my first time mooring inside Astons at Beccles, the two border signs were very near the entrance to the yard. You walked out of Norfolk into Suffolk crossing the bridge to go into Beccles. All very confuzzling indeed! Iain.
