  1. This road reminds me of one that was built in East Kilbride to avoid the main route to the M74. Lots n lots of roundabouts branching off to housing estates and a boating lake ! Happy motoring all !
  2. Hi Steve, I can see you have, choose files link. Pending where you keep you pic files you select from there as I said more than one. Click the plus sign inside each pic, they should go into your post. Basically its file pic to choose file then send. I am not a whizz kid on a PC, sorry, Admin are the clever clogs on here! Iain
  3. Ella, you can add more than one pic on each posting, choose your files/pics click the + on the pic and add, so say four files, would be four pics. Hope that helps.
  4. Returning to the thread proper, Ludham Bridge was ok when rebuilt but is know longer the case IMO,boats are longer and higher than before. Meeting say White Champagne as you arrive af LBBY there aint a lot of room left! Add a nice little cross wind and the novice skipper will have a new heart rate! Solution, widen the whole area and straighten it out also a tad, if that is possible. I have sat and watched the choas there on a main change over day, carnage of Tim West proportions bump! oops sorry! Okay, so lets forget my idea, and use the phrase common sense instead, these days not in abundance, sadly. It is a very busy part of the Ant, and has to be treated so. Yes, we can but dream. Iain
  5. Lots of hire boats can get through that hole, it just requires lowering the water levels ! While I am on the subject, could someone please rebuild this pub ! Ta. Iain
  6. They may do that in darkest Lincolnshire, but doubt very much in the posh south where Gracie hails from,Tim. More likely to be a fur coat on and high heels !
  7. Hi Jonnie, Welcome to the NBN Forum Iain
  8. Hope the roads are not too busy enroute!
  9. Hi John, No way please spend as much time as you can, when you can on Friday Girl. I would, if I owned a boat ! Iain
  10. With regard to engine hours, Astons boats had a hours timer on I think all their boats on the dash. It was the first thing they checked when you returned from your holiday. Then they refueled before you moored up,in the basin. Iain
  11. Thank you Dave, easy really, buy a Tablet, and let your index finger do the typing ! Iain
  12. Morning all, Well if the counter is correct, this is my 10,000 post! I really must get out more. Sadly just now its stay indoors for now, and keeping up with all the threads on the Forum. It appears Mark (Baitrunner) has bumped his head on his boat, as he is kissing anything and everything that is within reach! There is treatment for that ailment, stand in the kitchen helping his dear wife with all the chores. Grendel is slowly progressing with the build in minature of Broad Ambition, can't wait to see the finnished model. Stuart (Wildfuzz) has been off on holiday, again, I thought the River Polis was a permenant holiday ! Anyway, rumour has it he has just about drank Malta, dry ! Our blonde bombeshell the bain of all us Mods that's Gracie to new members, has had to return to hospital, hopefully just a fleeting visit, and shall be back to full health soon If you like dodgems then may I recommend a spot somewhere near How Hill or Ludham Bridge this weekend, the flappy things are heading for Barton Broad. I wonder if SOB will be on stand by there? Hmm maybe not. Hopefully Timbo will be progressing with his restoration of Royal Tudor, really looking forward to seeing his handy work on here when completed this century? For all things you miss on here, you can keep up on the NBN Facebook site. Lots of pics and anicdotes. Enjoy ! Right, time for a coffee, take care all on the roads this Bank Holiday, if on the Broads, have fun, and keep safe too. Iain
