Indeed, had a few holidays in Weymouth, and several breaks in Bournemouth till Ryanair stopped the flights from Prestwick. One travelled with very light baggage as it was so warm there. Iain

The KILT is worn by the Royal family throughout their holiday at Balmoral, so there I personally due to circumstances, have not been able to wear a kilt, for many decades. Wish I could, however I do own a very expensive pair of Tartan trousers £250 in 2002. The kilt in full regalia knocks the spots off any morning suit IMHO. What was the question again? Hi Vaughan, I built the Airfix Kit, the gun turret was a nightmare to glue together ! lol. If you look on google there is a site with I think a pic of every version of MTB built. My relations were all on aircraft carriers, destroyers and cruisers, oh and the Prince of Wales. Iain

Folks great discussion, but, no mention of day boats, I cannot see these boats adhereing to by-laws they will probably go full pelt in that area if not stopping off at the pub! I have had boats cut across my bow there and that is from side on moored, holidaymakers just do not think at times when on a boat IMO, gung ho comes to mind, so yes an accident possibly waiting to happen, but only possibly, no harm done, yet! It is a busy area and should be treated with care. I feel yet more instructiobs to hirers, on the way.....do not moor stern on at the Ferry Inn, Horning! Iain
