  1. Oh, and many thanks for the likes, much appreciated
  2. Ha! Before Swancraft fixed us up with a portable hosepipe it was a bucket and funnel job so sadly we had to be a bit more frugal. Nice thought though!
  3. There is certainly something about Reedham at sunset. These are a couple from last week.
  4. We were actually moored at Cantley on Monday morning but didn't see it as we wanted to get back to Swancraft. The tide was in flood in the morning which would have helped I imagine.
  5. I'm almost certain it is a pubco - Enterprise I think which is not usually a good sign
  6. Hi Jim Just passed again en route to Brundall. Sad to report the Dandy is still there. Hope it can be re-floated soon.
  7. Thanks for the update Keith, thought it was probably flood related, hope they can get things sorted
  8. Ha!!!! Forum filter Substitute wallflower for a lady dog
  9. Bitch in the Ditch John, affectionate alternative to lady of the lake :-) Nice drop of Trawlerboys in the Wherry too
  10. Hi Clive I'm not technical by any means but the system does work very well and we have not noticed any drop out even in Horning! Mrs Nog is more technically inclined and she has been very pleased with it. I certainly wouldn't want it to take over the holiday (still get in the pub) but it's very useful and I think would be a very attractive 'extra'
  11. Just been past the BITD and it looked to be closed. Wonder if it had been flooded? Broadsview OK though, nice drop of Adnams Old
  12. Certainly am! Rivers to ourselves, it's brill, best time to be out
  13. I'm back to Brundall on Monday so will check unless someone passes by before
  14. Not too sure, I'll check with the technical department (Mrs Nog) Works well though.
  15. Been trying out Swancraft's new wi-fi system this week. It works very well indeed, fast and reliable and even works in the Horning 'black hole'. Highly recommended.
  16. Good fun indeed and a superb pub. Just wish I could be there!
  17. Saw this little fella stranded on the bank just downstream of the Beauchamp Arms. Presumably a victim of the floods. Hopefully it will be OK.
  18. Thanks for the replies folks, out from Brundall this morning, levels look pretty much back to normal, low here in Loddon, full of fishermen too grrrr...........!!!!!
  19. This is Norwich a few minutes ago, just before low tide. Levels look to be dropping. I would appreciate any info on Brundall and/or Reedham today.
  20. Not actually hired from them but been in quite a few times for service ā€“ always go the extra mile, very well deserved.
  21. One of my interests is vintage electronics and I have bought a few old radios on ebay which have been delivered by MyHermes couriers. As Matt says they seem to use private cars and give good service. The parcels I have had delivered have all arrived in one piece which is more than I can say for Parcelforce ā€“ Iā€™m sure they drop everything from great height on principle even when clearly marked as fragile. I certainly would never use Parcelforce.
