maybe i am a little different to everyone else, i just toddle on down the rivers and enjoy what is on offer, not getting involved in breaking rules and regs
we are only around 100 miles from you on the north-east coast and it has been a cold and very overcast day, it is a better forecast for tomorrow and the rest of the week
i think the main problem may be the year to year basis, spend £1600 per lin metre (97 metres), a lot of money, then the landlord gives you notice the following year, the BA is left with nothing and the land owner has a long stretch of pristine mooring
i would not read too much into all this, there are a lot of doom and gloom mongers out there, i have been coming to the broads since 1970 and had our own boat since 1991 but it is not putting me off the broads
the fenders have now been sold
the petrol tanks are still here and taking up much needed space, so, a reduction in price
the metal tank is now £30
and the plastimo is £15, both tanks are in good condition
i also have 2 fuel tanks, ons is a steel 50 litre the other is a plastimo 22 litre both with priming bulbs and tubeing
both tanks are in good condition although have small scuffs here and there
£40 for the steel 50 litre and 25 for the 22 litre
i have ten majoni star 3 fenders for sale, all with a new 2 metre x 10mm braided fender rope, these are in good condition and were replaced because they are too big for our new boat
also 2 majoni star 5 fenders again with new braided ropes
the 10 star 3s are 21mm x 62mm and the star 5s are30mm x 90mm
£12 each for the star 3s and £20 each for the star 5s
