  2. I was going to do a live stream via ustream while on the broads last however when I set up the camera all I got on the screen was bright white when I brought it inside it worked fine. Can anyone suggest any suitable camera I can that would be suitable for outside (not too expensive) Thanks
  3. I bought a pair of those boat/deck shoes from aldi last year and they are very comfy I also take a pair of trainers a pair of slippers and a pair of pool shoes

Ooooh nice boat in that case i hope i won't literally BUMP into you LOL i'll keep an eye out for you There is a small gathering(get together) of members of a couple of Broads related facebook pages on the sunday 27th at Acle if you're interested in popping by for a natter and a couple of bevies with us (and rumour has it i'm doing a full english brekkie for everyone the following morning)

  6. I thought the only Harvesters they had in Norfolk were of the Combine variety LOL
  7. I must admit i always come back from the broads feeling relaxed and rested (but a bit heavier in the body and lighter in the wallet LOL)
  8. I've heard a rumour that spending some nice relaxing time on the broads is some of the best medicine available

  11. Do richardsons still do the 20% discount off 2nd holiday i have a week booked in may and a week booked in september will i get the discount after i've taken my week in may as it doesn't say anything on the booking confirmation

  14. Last september i used a gps speed app on my phone and got told by a ba patrol on the Ant to slow down "slightly" my gps was saying i was doing 4mph but it does do points so i could have been doing 4.7mph but they are handy to give you a rough idea of your actual speed
  15. I personally think they should have just re-designed the original bird logo it's a bit like kellogs getting rid of snap,crackle and pop on rice krispies and replacing them with something totally different

  17. I use fresh mash when i make it at home but on a boat i use a dry mash called "mr mash" i forgot to mention it's best served with gravy
  18. Yes i do work for m&b as a chef and i get a 20% staff discount
  19. One of my faves you'll need a loaf tin a tin of corned beef a tin of baked beans and finally cheesy mash potato slice the corned beef and put in the bottom of the loaf tin top add the tin of baked beans and top with the cheesy mash then put in the oven till it's hot
  20. I think m&b should buy some more pubs on the broads....i can have a bit more choice for using my staff discount then LOL A few Sizzling Pubs and Ember Inns would be nice with the odd Harvester thrown in for good measure LOL

  23. didn't topcraft do a boat in the early 90s that you could put your caravan on
  24. loving the new boats you're building they look amazing do you have any plans of building smaller boats for the smaller groups or couples i used to love the style and layout of broadland tango we hired it in 96 and in it's last year on hire 2002 (i think) would be nice to have a modern take on that style of boat similar to siesta but with the layout of tango or how about a new aft cockpit cruiser thats not of the "sporty" style but more the classic aft cockpit
