A Year Of Boat Ownership

Well it's been a year since we bought "Tropez" a 23foot Fairline Holiday.

A lot has changed, we decided to relocate to Norfolk, using the boat as a base to house hunt, mananged to shoot one in NorthTuddenham!

Anne and myself have both got jobs with a lot less traveling, no more 3 hour commute each way, no more having to work in that there London!

So from sitting on Mystic Horizon from Richardson's on South Walsham Broad in September 2016 and me saying to Anne "Yea, I could get used to this" we bought a boat, moved house, changed jobs!

Let this be a warning to you all, hiring a boat on the broads is dangerous!!

Congratulations!

The Fairline Holiday was our first boat together, back in '82.

She had the Volvo 175bhp straight 6 petrol engine and we bought her in Dartmouth. Then brought her back to Brundall via Guernsey and Alderney.

We took her to Holland a couple of times; she was a good little sea boat!   :default_stinky:
