It was the AGM of the Goosander syndicate last Saturday, which I attended in Horning. Amongst lots of things which were discussed, was a suggestion to have  Goosander's annual service carried out by Southgates in Horning this winter. It came up that from the 1st October, the people who own Southgates - Cators? take full ownership of Ferry Marina as Len Funnel is selling up. I am surprised that such an event has not attracted interest on here! Unless it has been kept under wraps?

I did hear that a few weeks back,but was unsure it was true.May well be interesting to see how it develops.

Yep - thats true. Not kept under wraps - just assumed everyone knew as the news has been out and around for sometime.

Len has another project in mind - he is not retiring!!!

As Marshman says common knowledge and a change of focus for Len and James Knight, he has still retained his river front properties.

Goosander was looking fine on Tuesday up at Dilham - was that you David? I'd have wandered over to say hi if I'd known.

No Stumpy, I was there just for the meeting, though I spent two nights in Norwich. My first week ever on Goosander is in just under two weeks time - Sat 6th Octoberso if you are about then and see me, please do say hello - or anyone else for that matter!
