Bounty Boats Pennant - Image Wanted

I am getting a pennant made for Dakota and as she is a Bounty DC30 and as the old Bounty Boats pennant is rather nice looking that's what I want.

But I only have a small blurry image and The Sewing Ark really need something better to work with. So, does any member have a nice clean image or photo of it please?

I suggest you ask Peter Jeckells in Wroxham, who has just made a couple of Hearts Cruisers pennants for me. He still has the patterns for the old boatyard flags.

Trouble is, I have a feeling that Bounty were one of the yards that didn't actually fly a flag on their boats, so Peter may not have a pattern for it. Your photo is obviously taken from a Hoseasons brochure, so I am afraid I have nothing better than that.

I may have to think again 🙂 I just like the styling of the BB to represent sails, a bit art deco if you know what I mean.

I’m sure those budding artists amongst our fellow members would relish the challenge

Knowing the design it shouldn't be too difficult for anyone with a half decent drawing suite to create a high resolution image of it.

I've dabbled in the past... I shall give it a go myself and see how it comes out.
