Has anyone seen the article this month about Howards Way?? And has anyone else noticed that Barry and Sharon's Turbo looks extremely similar to the 'unknown' one featured????

Thats one of the reasons I always wanted a turbo 36, proper retro boat. but the boat I like as much is a halmatic ds 110 have a look at one of those they are real retro.

I may have to get a recording of the theme tune to replace my hooter

I thought the "Howards Way" stars were sailing yachts. If memory serves me correctly the "stinkies" were the preserve of the baddies.

I think you will find there were a lot of boats including offshore powerboat racing

Another Kate O'Mara special - filmed of course on the Dana Anglia (DFDS - Scandinavian Seaways) - Oddly when I was working on the Tor Scandinavia and the Tor Britania I travelled on the 'Anglia quite alot and there were still many fixed cable points for camera power and sound patched out all around the ship!

Oddly the opening credits showed shots of the Tor Scandinavia and some of the old interior shots on the early programs were shot on the Britannia when it sailed under the company flag of 'Tor Line' from felixstowe - brings back alot of memories for me!
