DAVIDH
Cockatoo, I must have been in the Yare at the same time as you. That's my red Clio in the car park. I was sat next to the window which overlooks that flooded bit!
Simondo
I fished all day today on the Yare and the level kept coming up for a good while after the tide turned on the ebb. Didnt get too high though. Fishing was good but dont tell anyone
Katmandu
Don't panic, keep calm Brooms are dredging their moorings that should reduce the levels a bit and good to see they are doing their bit to reduce the effects of global warming. Quite often we drive by and the fields are as your pic. The one thing that i often wonder about is the river Waveney past Geldeston Lock, as the river beyond holds a level the same as before the lock. Did the river rise above the lock, or did it drop and run a lower level between Geldeston and the next lock.

Seriously though, Brooms are dredging out their mooring basins and using to spoil to infill some of the low ground levels behind their moorings.
