K N O B is an engineering term, as well as as grease nipples.

I suppose male and female threads will be next on the woke cancelling  list, although they are the best description of the fittings themselves.

Threads as you describe are part of a screw, and when they are used they are screwed 

You also find 'male' and 'female' used on connectors and plug/sockets too.

Hi with out turning this NBN Forum Blue  as to replenish the Toilet tank with this Blue liquid is there any other stuff that can be used instead of this Blue Stuff is it Harmful to the environment?

Hi Andrew we have a 165 gallon tank we use a biodegradable additive/exciter it then works like a septic tank provide you use bio cleaner. John
