Mooring Help

Good afternoon 

We have a little day boat (6m) which we have moored in Oulton Broad. The mooring fee is as expected for moorings which offer all facilities. However we don't use any of the facilities with our boat being very small.  It is just the convenience of not having to launch it every time we  use it. 

We are wondering if anyone knows if there are any simple small moorings anywhere, where we can just keep the boat on the water, with a price that reflects this? 

Any help would be appreciated.

If you don't mind moving north you could try Upton dyke, although I believe there is a waiting list. £23 + vat for 2023.

Again, in the north, there's South Oby dyke. No idea who to contact, sorry.

It did look like Upton had a few spaces towards the back end of last summer.

If you can pass under Potter Heigham bridge there will be a few I should think as many cruisers have had to come the other side in recent months/seasons due to passage

Wilds at Hickling will always squeeze in a little one I expect but you would have to ring them re prices. Nice and quiet up there - perfect for pottering! Not sure if you have an engine but if you have an outboard that is not bothered by the weed as you can remove it easily - after you have turned the engine OFF!!!!
