Yesterday we headed South to the delightful Suffolk town of Aldeburgh. Well worth a visit for folk coming upto the Broads via the A12. Spotted this sign on the beach, makes a change from happy baccy!

So long as I can find boats then I'm happy! Aldeburgh Beach:

And SWMBO is happy if she can find shops, Aldeburgh High Street.

No new picture today so I raked an old one out of the files, one that I particularly like. Taken from the footpath that runs between Burgh Castle and the tide.

Lovely pictures

Been a long time since We visited Aldeburgh.

We used to come to Norfolk (and Suffolk) on holiday for years before we hired a boat (way back in the early 80’s)

We would tour the area and loved it.

Then we discovered boats and The Broads and then the bug bit !!!!

And the rest they say !!!

We were in Aldeburgh a couple of weeks ago and had a great day there. The best fish & chips I've had in a very long time, eaten on the sea front on one of those windy and sunny but rainy days. Then bought some small dover soles (10 for £10!!!) from one of the fisherman's shacks and took them home to cook for dinner. They were delicious.
