  1. Yes , indeed so, Perry. I saw it on Look East last night and I did think the BBC concentrated too much on adversely showing Le Boats and their boat.
  2. What a great idea, Lori! You could keep an eye on us at Easter!
  3. Quite right, Perry, let's leave it there, please.
  4. Alan, Hi. You sure won't have that problem this year! I think the main problem this year will be getting under the fixed bridges as I reckon the water levels will be well up for some time to come. Lori, can you work that cam at Wroxham to see the river height, please?
  5. I reckon you'd have a job getting an Alpha under that! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-21219575
  6. As I said on the 24th... "He tried to use his previous name but the forum system whatsit (I'm no computer wiz ) wouldn't permit it... "
  7. And if they're Hoseasons marked does that mean that other hireboats can moor there overnight? That would be great news for anyone wanting to visit Brundall or catch a train to Norwich.
  8. Back to the subject! We are now on the limit of 20 boats I originally booked (2 are moored there pemanently). If we have anymore folk wanting to come I shall have to start a reserved list but usually someone or other will drop out before the Meet. It's not as if they don't want anymore on the pontoons but the Wintering boats there don't have to leave until 31st March.
  9. OMG! Perhaps we should take our bone-domes?
  10. Just looking at those two pics, GR, makes me wish for March! Still, only 5 weeks away!
  11. I think this one deserves a look, though it's not a boat!
  12. Just Brilliant, Lori........ only you would have dreamed that one up!
  13. I reckon that engine would rapidly end up at the front, having blended the (non-lsj's) crew! We watched it through twice 'cos I originally it had been speeded up and we're hiring in Holland in theSummer. Then remembered we'll be in a 10+ metre steel boat and wasn't so worried after all!
  14. Good for you two! Look forward to your site's completion! :clap
  15. I'd thought about that, Lori, but didn't want to scare them into closing!
  16. Hylander, Hi. I doubt it; the south coast isn't known for being that cold! Wombatnee got it just under two hours after ST posted this thread! (and that was only two weeks ago) So come on Mr L, you'd better be telling 'em!
