  1. We had a brand new Antares 760 a few years ago and it also failed its BSS because as well as the fuel tubing the flexible gas tubing also wasn't marked.... Surely common sense should prevail?
  2. I right clicked and "saved as". But when I then magnified it I couldn't read it (it came out too distorted). Try this link: http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=diesel ... 19&bih=572 And then click on the pic the same as above... it's then very clear.

  4. Take it out, start your car, put it in exhaust fumes..... QED!
  5. Alan, Hi I think we're more thinking about the "gawpers", not a high air-height boat checking for clearance!
  6. The EDP article actually says: "Residents and business people in the Broadland village are adamant that the Broads Authority (BA) has no right to levy the charge, claiming counsel’s opinion was sought in the past when it was ruled that people had a legal right to moor free on what was a public quay. Angry business owners have vowed to attend a meeting of Reedham Parish Council tonight to lobby support for their campaign to stop the plan. Meanwhile, it is understood the BA, which leases the quay from Broadland District Council, has delayed introducing the charge while it explores the legal issues. But in the Le Boats Topic we have : "Barbara Greasley, chairman of Broads Tourism, said she was saddened to hear Le Boat had decided to pull out of Somerleyton after operating hire cruisers there for just one season. She said: “Broads Tourism has been working with the Broads Society on a regeneration of the Southern Broads project, so the closure of another hire boat yard on the Southern Broads is particularly disappointing. “This boatyard closure will mean that there will be less free moorings and facilities for hirers on the Southern Broads.” She said it came in the wake of disappointing news that boaters will now be charged £3 to moor at Reedham Quay" Let's hope the Parish Council veto this and Broadland District Council uphold the decision...
  7. Unless they slow down to 1-2 mph, as Branden suggested, Mark!!!
  8. Exactly, Mark. We're staying there at the end of the month and intend to do just that. Except................. they have the ultimate sanction of taking your licence away................ So perhaps we'll just have to take Alan's advice..........
  9. Well that's IT. I shall just bloody refuse to pay........ what are our (over-inflated) licence fees for?
  10. That's done, S&J. Don't forget to call them, please.
  11. Thanks, Lori. I've edited it... And no, I just pasted other lists and ours together and didn't delete all the cross-members. So this time your suspicions weren't right! (But they quite likely might have been!)

  13. OK, folks. If, with my IT skills, it can be done......... then let's all try to do it!
  14. I guess as I had the first word on this subject I'd better have the last! A BIG "Thanks" to all you brave peeps who made it! I can't remember a colder week on-board and the red has dropped pretty quickly with the Webasto on nearly 24/7.... Also a thanks to Neil (SPEEDTRIPLE) for his excellent suggestion that I contact "Anglia Afloat" and ask if they'd like to attend. Their Editor had indicated he would try but he probably thought we'd cancel with the weather as it was.... I'll try again (a bit harder) for the next one and if we get the gazebo up and running it would be good to see the NBN name featured.
  15. Thanks! Edited! Hope you'll make it sometime.
  16. Good news, S&J! Stern or side, leccy, days?
  17. And how much disc space does it take up compared with a normal 1600 x 1200 pic, Mark?
