IMHO there are no better wedding photographs than men with full dress kilt regalia worn. Well done Mbird a converted Sassenach tee hee Grace I always behave! lol I think being a foreman in my younger years I developed a attitude that got the best out our staff by winding up many of the ones that only wanted the money at the end of the working week. Once again, as was said, thank you for sharing your wedding pics. Iain.

  12. Kilt? Nah perish the thought, am talking ChesNUT trees Those London dailys you read are a load of old bunkum when they talk about ALBA, 99% have never been further than WATFORD!
  13. A delightful programme. Just watched last nights edition. I must say we are spoiled on the Broads, nothing like the hard work of all those Locks. If ever it convinced me 40 years ago where to holiday on water, watching this remarkable couple of no young years plough onwards and upwards through all those locks did... Not for me, but nice to watch on TV. Iain.

  18. Beg pardon Colin....know what you mean, my sister in laws Patterdale terrier thought nothing of diving in chasing the swans! Mad as a brush he was! No dogs this trip though. Two old sea dogs though....oops meant the wife and sister in law Iain.
  19. Oh thee of little faith....Colin...its the factor 25 you will be needing to get, Well wet suit if you like that daft wind surfing lark. Our local beach was covered in them this morning! No matter the weather, and this is my 42 year for some of my crew, I am sure you will have a wonderful holiday!

  21. I too have used Online Banking since it was available. Its handy too. I agree with Strowager you do have to be aware of Phishing etc from the lowlife. But its better than having a house full of statement paper!
  22. As a ex sparky, I would use 1mm or 1.5mm single PVC solid drawn cable as a back up draw wire. Earth Dual colour best as you can identify quickly. Iain.
  23. Austerity has a lot to do with buying online, that, and human nature to sniff out a bargain. I live in a time warp town where we have lots of privately owned shops, and often find I can buy what I am looking for there, and I do. However, there are items that you just cannot buy localy, and that is where the internet can and does help the consumer. As a Scot we know all about saving a bawbee or three! Iain.
  24. So have I misread it....Electrcian Snake is perfect for that job. Any good Electrical wholesalers will sell that.
