  1. BB if they don't move for a boat to moor up, photographs will be taken of them, or should be! Iain.
  2. Hi there, Depending what you are looking for, as Grace said, Richardsons are defo worth a look. They have several boats that allow two dogs and all are available the week you wish to book. Happy hunting, hope you get a boat to suit you all. Iain.

    New Torch

OMG that IS a strange looking boat Strowie! I tried my old banger 5 quid torch at Acle moorings in October, and for a basic LED torch I was impressed with its distance of light travel. BTW that does look a tidy torch, but being a thrifty Scot, the batteries are free for mine! I have had loads for free off reps, when I was in business. Bless them, I still get a few now after I have retired. Iain.

    New Torch

I bought this last September for going on the Broads, add the batteries all in about £8.00 and a great light too! http://groceries.asda.com/asda-webstore/landing/home.shtml?cmpid=ahc-_-ghs-sna3-_-asdacom-dsk-_-hp#/product/910000830026 Iain.
  5. Alan, the Barnes cam gives you a fairly good look of what height the bridge is I think. Iain.
  6. The pilot doesn't start till Saturday, I think Frank. Maybe that is why no hire craft are through the bridge with you? Iain.
  7. As there is no 35x zoom lens cams Grace, you wouldn't need to do the hair n war paint! I find it handy when cruising up to Wroxham to see what moorings are available or not as the case might be, and to see if the Pilot is about. My last comment gets me annoyed, as until the new Pilot rules came into being, I have carefully negotiated Wroxham Bridge for over 30 years on my own both ways! Iain.
  8. Pacific Cruisers have a couple or three of good 2 berth boats a reasonable prices. Iain.
  9. With the wonders of modern science these days Martin, you never know, you could have a NEW life altogether and have twins! Happy Mothering Sunday though to ALL Mums!
  10. What you mean Martin is...Wroxham is becoming a "Buffer" state with Branch Lines and all will end up as Level Crossings. Not to mention the Points it will earn for its designers. It could Signal a new way of seeing things. There again, lets hope its a Main Line attraction. Aye, ok, all a bit corney, but I coulny resist lol Iain.
  11. I know there is a link to it further down. Its just a reminder to all the Big Kids like me it opens on April 4th. I am sure it will be very popular once word gets about. I for my sins was involved in a model railway group many years ago, so knows the hours of painstaking work in puting this all together. A brill pastime hobby! I hope it proves to be a great success. Iain.
  12. Glad to see you made it safely to Wayford. Just be careful, keep ducking and diving, or from what we have been reading, Jon is busy, he will have you puting on the overalls! Have a wonderful time while on the Broads. Iain.
  13. Oh eck i've done it again! Sorry off thread! Iain.
  14. That was over a year ago Grace, thankfully am a lot better now ta. I made my goal last year to get back on the BROADS and managed that late September early October, with a fab weeks weather too. Now only 33 days to go (not that am counting them down) till I return there for a 11 day holi! Iain.

  17. Me joke Grace?...Never! Now where is that Angel Emot......
  18. Andy, many years ago at Ranworth Island my father in law and my wife were having a dip in the Broad,(it was a boiling hot day) however they could not get back onto the cruiser. I did my RNLI bit and rowed them round to the side of that same island, the area if you don't know it can get very slimmy mud! You can imagine the state the pair of them were in as we washed them down a bit before coming back on board to shower. Dinghys DO have their uses!
  19. What!!! NO pics of the boat entry Grace? Or You Tube Video? Iain.

  21. I think our Electrician snakes were 25mtrs in length, I gave mine away when I stopped doing heavy lecky work. Mine was a steel one I kept in a bent conduit. Think new type a sort of Nylon compound. Iain.
