To my knowlege, Royal Troon are voting on July 1st regarding lady membership, the crazy bit is, the ladies are more than happy with the present set up with their access to the Club. They have their own clubhouse close to the Marine Hotel, and play most of their golf on Troon Portland as the RT course is too long and difficult, even off the LGU tees! I rate Carnoustie the hardest of all the championship courses I have played,with Royal Troon on a windy day a very close second! I have played all the Open courses on the mainland bar one, Royal St Georges, Sadly, Trump Turnberry will know longer be on the rota for obvious reasons ! Iain
