When it was a working yard, mooring up there was no easy task, even for regular hirers like me, to take on water or pump out. The tide bombs along there at times.

Picture it now...the new Cutty Sark Gracie, out front on the bowsprit, with glass of wine in one hand an holding on for grim death with the other !

That is the old Aston yard next to the parish staithe. It was called after Astons, Princess Cruisers. If they are breaching the law, then surely they would have been moved on by now?
