  2. Hi Chris, Indeed I do, the white puddin is known as sweet pudding, as for the breakie, myself and the other tradesmen who had worked a ghoster at the Ayr Station Stakis Hotel, were offered free breakie, after the second floor had had a fire think it was in May, had to be reopened in time for the Glasgow Fair race meetings. Mr Gabriel and Mr McLean the two Duty Managers, knew how to look after tradesmen. Iain

  21. Hi folks, Some of you may have noticed I wasn't about much on line from Thursday till late last evening. The reason being I have been glued to my TV watching this years Open Championship from my Town of Troon. It has been very hard for me not being able to go to watch it as it happened, but I have watched every shot on TV. Its a course I know well from my playing days, and the Course Manager/Head Greenkeeper Billy Mc Lachlan was one of our juniors at my old golf club many years ago, indeed we were at his wedding reception. Considering the wet weather we have encountered over many months the course was immaculate! I sent an advance party to the course on Wednesday and Thursday, Ruth and her sister Janice. I thought I would share a few pics of Royal Troon's transformation for an Open Golf Championship.
