Hi Jon, I do enjoy your tales, keep up the good work. When I have some time I will have to get my passport out and come Up North and have a look at your yard and see if it matches the picture I have in my head.
Have a good Christmas and New Year
Regards

Lori, King Canute tried to hold back the sea, without success. Hopefully the planners now take note of flood plains and coastal areas at risk and insist on appropriate designs.
Hi Norfolknog, I am at BGM today, the levels are high but not topping over and not expected to. Has been very high past two evenings when it did flood over the bank apparently.

Interesting article on sail makers, Jeckells of Wroxham in Practical Boat Owner December issue. Even as a non rag and stick boater I found it informative.
Hi John,
Normally I can recognize your non mod post, I was uncertain of this one as it was a subject you may have commented on as a mod, too many hats B-)
I understood from a previous post by Admin that he was happy to help out with information being posted here, I thought that was a kind gesture and one that could need reciprocating in the future. Has that policy changed ?
Martin, don't spoil a good rant by introducing hearsay :-D. The boys in blue probably can't use the new boat, I expect the nice new outboard was stolen earlier. A helicopter ! Good luck with landing that near the stolen boat, cars in attendance, !! Might be tricky to get to most areas of the river by road. What they need is a nice new boat......
