You will be pleased to know, she was still afloat and looking good last week Neil
  3. This forum cracks me up!! It's just like our local hardware and farm supplies shop.. You ask for something completely random and they will give you a nod and disappear off round the back, but ALWAYS return with what you wanted, no matter how obscure the item you want
  4. Just yanking your chain Perrance, I'm sure it goes like the wind But seriously, if you have guests calling round and want to borrow a Merc just shout
  5. Ok!............Who's the tight **** with the Tohatsu??
  6. White nylon would be a good plan, as it can be shaped and remain virtually invisable thus not spoiling her lovely lines

  13. I think there is a place in Wroxham Simon, the name of it escapes me just now
  14. I loved Llanberis, there is a typical example of a slate quarry there, well worth a look round. And the Denorwig power station is well worth a visit
  15. Hats off to the team at Richardson's! They have made a lovely job of that boat. I love seeing an old boat transformed like that Good for another 30 years now.
  16. I have to agree, I personally have saved hundreds of pounds by doing the work myself. Plus I enjoy doing it
  17. Well done that man! I've been scratching my head, trying to imagine what sort of craft, in what situation would warrant this!
  18. Perhaps reserved exclusively for the Mary Celeste
  19. "Vessel Not under command making way (Bow view)" Is that even legal Perrance?
  20. I set 1 at TDC both valves closed timing mark lined up. Then simply follow the firing order of the engine, in my case 1-3-4-2. The harder question hasn't been asked yet! "Which valve is an inlet and which an exhaust"
