RumPunch
I drove back to Barton from Norwich last night around eight. There were manhole covers in the middle of Sprowston road lifted right up, 6 inches or so, by the water pressure. Others had huge water fountains shooting out of the holes in them. An 'interesting' journey ( oh - and my garage flooded ) Suppose I'd better saunter down and check the boat today
BrundallNavy
I stood on the path outside my house last night on my way to vote and the water was running over my shoes like I was walking down a stream. Over 3" of water outside my back door. I heard that in Dereham they had over a foot of standing water. nice and sunny this morning. Doug. Baitrunner
Doug in Dereham it went to nearly 4' at one point on the main road. 10pm it was still about 18" so they were only letting big stuff through My wife was stuck the wrong side of it for 5hrs. A few houses flooded as well. By the time they had pumped it down to manageable levels it was gone 11pm. Heard this morning the a1075 to Watton was closed as well. That was fun last night when I came through it not heard how places like Beccles or brundal fared yet.
