Sad Day

Well its a sad day today, we had been worried by little Ingrid, our little Golden Girl, we had thought we might need to take her to the vets for that final visit today, she had gone blind and  was going downhill, not eating for the last day, so we were worried.

This morning she has been on  my lap all morning, while we waited for the vets to open.

A short while ago she peacefully passed while in her most favorite place in the world - my lap, she is still there as I type, 

Ingrid, I will miss the morning sock dance as you sat on my lap whilst I tried to put my socks on round you.

I will see you again with all the others on the Rainbow bridge.

Sad news Grendel, you have our sympathies.

Take some comfort from the fact that Ingrid was at home in her favourite place with her favourite person at the end and not in a strange vets surgery

Sad news but what a great final ending place / time.  When their time is due I can think of no better circumstances

Oh I am sorry to read this, but agree with Griff, she was happy and at peace because you love her.

Sad news Grendel, but she was in the best place in her world when she made the journey to Rainbow Bridge. That must be a great comfort to you.

So very sorry to read about the loss of your "golden girl" as has a!ready been said s if she had to leave you she started her journey from the best possible station.

We had our own sadness today... Our sympathies for your sad loss. We also had the dreaded appointment booked for this morning, but Molly went peacefully in her own time...
